THE BEST KABOOBS I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! They're always fresh, juicy and flavorful! Their rice has its own unique flavor and is amazing on its own. They are family owned and operated, have wonderful service and is my favorite place to eat.
So cute and delicious! I love the ambiance of it feeling very comfortable (pillows and cushions) and homey because the layout of it all. The food was tasty and nicely presented. This is a perfect place for a nice intimate date. The first time My husband and I went, the room was a bit quiet and there was another couple in there with us. Honestly, I wish there was music because it would've been less awkward. Awkward in the sense that, we could all hear eachother a conversations. We felt like we had to talk softly and it kinda sucked. A little melodic tune for background music would've been nice. A suggestion maybe? OR maybe we just went on a day they didn't play music for whatever reason. So, I could be very wrong. Don't forget to ask for a spice tray!! I like this place for its history and cuteness. We'll be baaaaack.
So much flavor in the food here! We thoroughly enjoyed a the VEGGIE SAMBOSA starter which were phenomenal, as well as the HUMMUS PLATTER which you can tell was housemade. We also had the VEGETARIAN SAMPLER, with SABZI, BANJAN and CHANA MASALA (which was my favorite!) They served plenty of naan with our order and it also came with basmati rice (CHALOW) and a side salad. All Vegan!!!!!! We ordered take out but I cannot WAIT to go back and sit inside. The ambience of this place is adorable and the patio is super cute and romantic, perfect for a date night or even ladies night. From the moment we placed our order over the phone to arriving and picking it up, the service was exceptional. The gal that took our order was very helpful and friendly and the man inside the restaurant (possibly the manager??) was incredibly welcoming and excited to help us. We were ordering vegan items and they made sure that we would be satisfied with our choices. Literally, everything about this order was absolutely amazing. My only complaint is with myself and that I didn't sit on that cute patio! Can't wait to go back.
What a hidden jewel. I've lived in Woodbridge for 4 years and saw the numerous attempts at dining establishments in this building. Imagine my surprise when I walked in and was greeted with the best service and amazing food. My son has a sever "dairy allergy" and knowing that practically everything on the menu is safe. I loved the platter with the shrimp chicken and lamb and the bread/ dipping sauce was tasty. Great job. We'll be back!!
I went to Georgees as a party of three as a place to grab dinner before a movie at Potomac Mills. The atmosphere of Georgees is very interesting--it's not typical restaurant decor, rather more like that of a very colorful (and large) house. I ordered the Chapli Kabob, which is described as two seasoned minced beef patties, with side of sabzi (slow-cooked, spiced spinach). My girlfriend ordered the veggie kebab, and the server was considerate enough to ask if she was vegan. It's a small note, but to me, that speaks good volumes about a business being conscientious about their customers. The food came out quite quickly, with a plentiful basketful of pita and two sauces and pickled onions. I enjoyed most of the food here, although I have to say that my chapli was, although flavorful, a bit on the drier side (as a poor analogy, if it were a hamburger, I wouldn't have enjoyed it). Service was well and ambience was nice. Everyone enjoyed the rest of their food, so it's a solid 4 stars to me.
